LUMBEE GUARANTY BANK CELEBRATES
FAYETTEVILLE OFFICE GRAND OPENING
FAYETTEVILLE—Pembroke-based
Lumbee Guaranty Bank celebrated the Grand Opening of its
first Fayetteville office today with a formal ribbon-cutting
ceremony.
Located at 6313 Raeford Road at Falcon Village,
the new office houses Fayetteville City Executive-Vice President
Allen Davidson along with two tellers and a customer service
representative.
The ceremony was highlighted by the cutting
of a ribbon made entirely of currency, representing a donation
the bank has pledged to United Way of Cumberland County.
“Now
that we’re in Fayetteville, we’re eager to demonstrate
the Lumbee approach to banking and service, and part of that
is being a responsible corporate citizen,” said Davidson. “For
us, that means contributing to those groups whose good works
aid and enrich our community.”
“We’re excited
to be in Fayetteville,” said bank President
and CEO Larry R. Chavis. “We believe this vibrant market
holds a lot of opportunities for us, just as we believe that
our presence offers a host of financial opportunities for
our customers.”
Founded in 1971, Lumbee Guaranty Bank
currently operates 11 offices in Robeson and Cumberland counties
with assets totaling $196.3 million. A second Fayetteville
location is under construction and will open in 2007.
